These interviews were conducted in recent years as part of a larger initiative – The Living Memory of the Jewish Community, which is itself subsumed under the National Life Stories Project in England. Over 440 hours of recordings can be listened to. Most interviews have extensive abstracts as well as a full transcript. Visit the British Library’s Voices of the Holocaust section where audio and printed versions of “survivor testimonies” are arranged by topic.

Thank you for placing these resources in the public eye Frank. Over here in the UK it’s a nightmare. We’ve just had a Bishop blatantly deny (http://www.historytimes.com/world-war-2/ww2-effects/the-most-deluded-man-in-the-world) that Jews were even gassed in World War 2!
It’s crazy stuff, so appreciate anyone who can put resources out there that show the real voices of those real people who suffered in these camps and survived to tell the tale. Keep up the good work.
Kind regards,
Ollie
