Access to Databases Threatened by Budget Cuts

logo_njki.gif  Can you imagine having to do assignments  or write papers without being able to use EBSCO? That’s exactly what will happen if New Jersey legislators have their way. If the current state budget passes, funding for these databases and many others will have to be slashed. If this happens, we may not be able to afford subscriptions, which cost in the tens of thousands of dollars each year. If you use these databases and want to ensure that you continue to have access, send an email to Governor Corzine.

For details, go the New Jersey Knowledge Iniative (NJKI) web site or see this urgent message on the library’s web site. Please help save the databases by writing to the governor.
