2013 Snapshot of New Jersey Pension System

The Census Bureau has just released its 2013 Annual Survey of Public Pensions: State-Administered Defined Benefit Data; the specific data for New Jersey has been highlighted. In case you are wondering what the “CV” column stands for, let us let the Census Bureau Glossary inform us: “The ratio of the standard error (square root of the variance) to the value being estimated, usually expressed in terms of a percentage (also known as the relative standard deviation). The lower the CV, the higher the relative reliability of the estimate.”
