Online Primary Sources for American History: FDR’s Master Speech File

Franklin Roosevelt was a prolific orator and writer; his presidential library has released 46,000 pages of speech drafts, transcripts, reading copies as well as audio files. These provide an unmatched resource into the workings of his presidency. The files range from a school debate in 1898 to drafts of undelivered speeches from April 1945. (He died April 12, 1945)
